All bookings must begin with an enquiry submitted via our website www.lakedistrictscenetours.com, email, or phone.
Once your tour is confirmed, we will provide you with payment instructions to complete your booking.
Full payment is required to secure your booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are confirmed at the time of booking. Any late changes to your booking may incur additional charges.
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible.
Cancel at least 14 days before your tour: Full refund
Cancel between 3 and 12 days before your tour: 50% refund
Cancel less than 72 hours before your tour or no-show: No refund

In some cases, we may be able to reschedule your tour at no extra cost, subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
Tours operate in most weather conditions. If conditions are unsafe (severe storms, flooding), we may:
Offer a rescheduled tour at no extra cost
Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
Airport Pickups: 45 minutes included. Additional time is charged at £15 per 15 minutes.
Other Transfers: 15 minutes included. Additional time is charged at £15 per 15 minutes.
We monitor flights and adjust accordingly.
If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed, please inform us as soon as possible.
Standard allowance: 1 suitcase + 1 carry-on per passenger.
Oversized luggage must be declared in advance.
Available on request and must be booked in advance.
For transfers, customers are asked to provide their own child seat as required by law.
Clients must treat the vehicle and driver with respect.
A £100 cleaning fee applies for excessive spills, stains, or damage.
Smoking, alcohol, and disruptive behaviour are not permitted inside the vehicle.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour or transfer.
We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
Some rescheduling requests may incur additional charges.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times, as required by UK law.
Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and disruptive behaviour are strictly prohibited.
The driver reserves the right to terminate the service without refund if passenger behaviour threatens safety or comfort.
Tour and transfer durations are limited to the agreed time.
Additional stops must be pre-arranged and may incur extra charges.
Drivers must comply with legally mandated rest breaks on longer journeys.
Tours include morning and afternoon refreshment stops featuring locally sourced treats from my hamper. Guests can choose between:
A scenic lakeside location or a historic inn with locally crafted beers and gins
A refined afternoon tea experience at a luxury country house hotel or tea room
Routes may change due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Tour extensions at customer request may incur additional charges.
Lake District Scene Tours is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:
Natural disasters, road closures, or government restrictions
Third-party failures (e.g. hotels, restaurants, attractions)
We will make every reasonable effort to provide alternatives, but refunds are not guaranteed in such cases.
Please raise any concerns with your driver during the service so we can resolve them immediately.
